Not good for the area with wet conditions – Building a timber frame home in areas with wet conditions can create problems. Fire risk is also attached with Timber House – Timber Frame homes are not that good enough to withstand the fire like the house made of bricks can do. In case, if the fire breaks out, it will destroy your house and will burn everything. But with the help of the fire retardants, this process can be slow down. So, it is better you discuss this with the company from whom you are getting your house constructed.

Timber Frame houses are not sound proofs – Now that is a big problem, as the timber-framed houses are not that good when it is about the soundproofing. That means, they will not be able to block the outside sounds or sounds from going out.
